We/Writing Experiences

"If ever there's a day we can't be together, keep me in your heart; I'll be there forever." - A.A. Milne

He sat beside her at the bay

It was sunset, almost the end of the day

He saw her face, glistening in the sunlight

For once in his life everything felt right

As she watched Apollo's Orb disappear into the sea

He watched her face, and said this is where I'm meant to be

He watched her black eyes reflect the dancing waters down

And as the final orange light, shimmered on her crown

And when the night arrived, she said to him

Look at the sky, every color to cater to your every whim

It's so pretty the night sky above us all

Sometimes I wish the sky would fall

And then she said, aren't you entranced, too

When the stars display their worth to you?

And he said, Words cannot explain

How its beauty stumps me time and time again

And as she looked upon him she smiled

He was watching her all the while

And he could not help but say

Thank God you gave me today

Hey guys! What's up? Many people ask me how I come up with everything I write. Well it's really simple. I'm inspired. That's just about it. I once wrote a poem for a girl and got nothing in return so yeah, sometimes I do get stumped and get really depressed so I write more. My advice? Write when you are depressed. Some of the greatest stories come from the darkest depths of human experience. The greatest stories come from those who have gone through hell and back, and the best characters are based on those who have suffered most.

"I read once that the Egyptians had fifty words for sand and the Eskimos had a hundred words for snow. I wish I had a thousand words for love, but all that comes to mind is the way you move against me while you sleep. And there are no words for that."  - Anonymous
